As a key player in our Manufacturing Operations team, you'll be responsible for delivering the manufacturing capabilities that bring our cutting-edge physical infrastructure to life.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Engineer at blithequark, you'll assess product designs and create the processes, tools, and methodologies behind our robust technology. You'll work closely with Supply Chain Directors and Design Architects to determine our infrastructure needs and product specifications, ensuring that the various components of our infrastructure fit together seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage the implementation of scalable manufacturing processes and systems for specific data center products, optimizing for cost, quality, and flexibility.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Management, and Operations teams to identify and address potential manufacturing roadblocks in early development stages.
  • Analyze and interpret complex production data to drive informed manufacturing strategies and identify solutions to enhance performance and efficiency across the supply chain.
  • Lead the evaluation, qualification, and strategic development of contract manufacturers, focusing on future capabilities and innovation.
  • Utilize Product Data Management (PDM) systems to create Bills of Materials (BOM), Approved Vendor Lists (AVL), and manage Engineering Change Notices/Orders (ECN/O), working closely with the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team to align forecast and BOM structures.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A four-year certification in Electrical Design, Cycle Design, Assembling Design, or equivalent reasonable experience.
  • 10 years of experience as an Assembling, Quality, Dependability, or Item Designer.
  • 6 years of experience with Item Lifecycle The executives (PLM).
  • 5 years of experience in the design and execution of civil high-voltage applications in data center construction.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:

  • A graduate degree in Science or a connected field.
  • Experience directing yield upgrades and process duration decreases for high-volume and high-complexity parts.
  • Experience with LEAN manufacturing practices, 5S, and 8D.
  • Experience in charging data centers.
  • The ability to influence product electrical design and manufacturing processes.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits

The US base compensation range for this full-time position is $35,000 - $45,000 per year. Our compensation is determined by job, level, and location. The range shown reflects the base and maximum target compensations for the position across all US locations.
