About the Role: Making an Impact through Customer Service Excellence

We're on the lookout for a highly skilled and empathetic Customer Service Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Service Specialist at blithequark, you'll be the frontline representative of our mission, providing expert advice and support to parents and customers across various aspects of our website and curriculum. Your ability to handle difficult customer situations with grace and turn negative experiences into positive outcomes will be crucial to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers via phone, live chat, email, and social media, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries.
  • Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or products, ensuring a personalized experience.
  • Make judgment calls to efficiently resolve customer issues, prioritizing satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with various teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience, aligning with our mission and values.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, using this data to inform service improvements.
  • Collect feedback from customers to enhance our services and marketing initiatives, driving continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong proficiency with technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
  • A typing speed of at least 45 words per minute, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to navigate complex customer issues.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A growth mindset, with a motivation to learn from constructive feedback and continuously improve.
  • The ability to work independently, manage your schedule effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • High standards of integrity and transparency, aligning with our company values.
  • Access to a reliable computer/laptop (with a camera preferred) and high-speed internet connection.

Schedule and Work Environment:

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll work 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week, within our operational hours of 4:00 AM - 8:00 PM Pacific (Sunday through Saturday). While we accommodate preferred shifts based on seniority, our flexible scheduling ensures you can maintain a healthy work-life balance.
