Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers via phone, email, or chat to resolve support issues, sell new products and services, and ensure best-in-class customer experience
  • Listen to customers, understand their needs, and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Utilize systems and technology to complete account management tasks, recognize sales opportunities, and apply sales skills to upgrade products and services
  • Explain and position products and processes with customers, ensuring a clear understanding of their benefits and features
  • Appropriately escalate customer dissatisfaction to the managerial team, ensuring prompt resolution and follow-up
  • Ensure first-call resolution through problem-solving and effective call handling, minimizing the need for follow-up calls

Candidate Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues
  • The ability to type swiftly and accurately (20+ words a minute), with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Basic understanding of Windows operating system, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Highly reliable with the ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality, with a strong commitment to meeting performance goals
  • The ability to evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues, with an aptitude for conflict resolution, problem-solving, and negotiation
  • Must be customer service oriented (empathetic, responsive, patient, and conscientious), with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Ability to multi-task, stay focused, and self-manage, with a strong team orientation and customer focus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience, either in a call center or other customer-facing environment
  • Experience with sales and upselling, with a strong understanding of product and service offerings
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex issues
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet performance goals

Physical Requirements

This job operates in a professional office environment, although it can be performed remotely. The employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
