Job Summary and Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Sales Manager, Retail, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the retail vertical. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and agencies, identifying new business opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored advertising solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.

  • Develop high-level relationships with customers and serve as a trusted consultant to optimize their advertising growth
  • Create mid-term and long-term territory plans to grow the advertising business both on and off our Smart TV platform
  • Work with agencies and brands to integrate the Smart TV platform into their media mix
  • Act as the voice of the customer, communicating market trends and industry shifts, including implications to our products teams
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive proposed Smart TV advertising strategies

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a unique blend of skills, experience, and passion for the advertising industry. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in sales, preferably in digital or TV advertising solutions
  • Extensive experience in new business development, with a proven track record of closing deals and generating revenue
  • A solid understanding of advertising industry issues and a keen interest in advancing Smart TV's forward-looking strategies within the marketplace
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills, with established relationships within the advertising industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to clients and agencies both in-person and over the phone
  • Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate cultures

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered a plus:

  • Experience working in a 100% hunter capacity
  • Experience in a verticalized role focused on Retail
  • A proven track record of success in sales, with a strong understanding of the retail industry

What We Offer

At Samsung Ads, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $155,000 to $170,000, with a quarterly bonus based on performance. Our benefits package includes:
