Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Compassionate Care: Inspire hope and deliver evidence-based counseling, case management, and crisis support services to patients, empowering them to achieve their best level of functioning in the community.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with medical staff, recovery care teams, and clinical supervisors to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct Counseling Sessions: Lead individual and group counseling sessions, providing supportive follow-up care to new patients and making referrals to case management services as needed.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure patient records are up-to-date, accurate, complete, and well-organized, complying with all relevant regulations and BHG requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need to meet the following qualifications:

  • A human services-related degree (Master's or Bachelor's) and current counseling credentials, as per Colorado state requirements.
  • 0-2 years of experience in behavioral health, preferably in an outpatient setting.
  • A passion for delivering compassionate, evidence-based care that aligns with our mission.

In addition to these qualifications, our ideal candidate will possess:

  • Sufficient knowledge of substance abuse treatment planning and human social services.
  • Aptitude for science-backed decision-making and sound judgment when handling confidential and sensitive issues.
