As a Tool Crib Attendant 2, you will play a critical role in supporting our night shift team, ensuring the efficient operation of our tool crib and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for receiving, storing, and issuing tools and supplies, as well as maintaining accurate inventory records using our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). You will work closely with our shop supervisors, manufacturing process engineers, and shop personnel to review inventory supply needs and suggest changes to stock items as required. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning, oiling, and performing minor repairs on production tools and equipment, as well as troubleshooting and repairing electronic toolboxes.

  • Receive, store, and issue tools and supplies, maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with company procedures
  • Validate inventory supply using visual inspections and CMMS, and place purchases with suppliers as required to replenish supplies
  • Report damaged, worn out, or missing equipment, and enter transactions into the CMMS to maintain database accuracy
  • Work closely with shop supervisors, manufacturing process engineers, and shop personnel to review inventory supply needs and suggest changes to stock items as required
  • Clean, oil, and perform minor repairs on production tools and equipment, and troubleshoot and repair electronic toolboxes
  • Identify, inventory, and distribute new/replacement tools to shop floor toolboxes, and dispose of surplus or obsolete equipment in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure that measuring devices are periodically calibrated, and maintain a safe and organized work environment

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a high school diploma and at least two years of related experience in manufacturing, asset control, or tool repair. You should be able to frequently move and position objects weighing 25 pounds overhead, and be able to climb ladders and stairs carrying/transporting tools. You should also have experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and be able to work any shift as needed per business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, preferred qualifications for this role include experience with pneumatic and standard hand tool repair, aerospace industry facilities experience, and experience working in a mission critical facility/maintenance environment. You should also have experience using CribMaster or a similar CMMS tool, and a current DOD Secret Security clearance that has been granted/renewed within the past 5 years.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $38,600.00 - $64,300.00, as well as a range of benefits and perks, including health insurance, life and disability insurance, savings plan, and paid time off. You will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and long-term incentives, and you will have the opportunity to participate in our employee stock purchase plan.
