Workwarp, a leader in innovative logistics and supply chain solutions, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Transportation Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Transportation Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our transportation network, directly impacting our ability to serve customers on time. Our Network Operation Center (NOC) is the central command and control center for transportation execution across our supply chain network, supporting multiple geographies. We are looking for a talented individual who can facilitate the flow of information between different stakeholders, resolve potential issues, and drive customer experience without compromising on time.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for working with our Outbound Operations team, focusing on the relationship between our fulfillment centers, carriers, and carrier hubs. Your primary objective will be to ensure that trucks leave our fulfillment centers on time to deliver customer orders as promised. You will address any potential issues that may arise during the lifecycle of freight, from leaving our fulfillment centers to reaching customer premises. As a Transportation Operations Specialist, you will provide timely resolutions to issues by researching and querying internal tools, making real-time decisions, and communicating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with external customers, such as carriers and vendors, and internal customers, including retail, finance, software support, and fulfillment centers
• Pull data from numerous databases using Excel, SQL, and/or other data management systems, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed
• Develop and understand performance metrics to drive business results
• Scope out business and functional requirements for our technology teams to create and enhance software systems and tools used by our NOC
• Quickly understand the business impact of trends and make data-driven decisions
• Systematically escalate problems or variances in information and data to relevant owners and teams, and follow through on resolutions
• Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed
• Provide excellent communication, both verbal and written, and create narratives outlining weekly findings and variances to goals
• Present findings in review forums and provide real-time customer experience in a fast-paced operating environment

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in logistics and supply chain management, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. We are looking for candidates with:

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field, such as computer science, engineering, or statistics
• Experience with Excel and data analysis

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SQL and data management systems
• Previous experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
