Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Apple Online Store Sales Area Manager to join our team. As a critical member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the Apple Online Store contact center. This is a full-time, remote position that requires a minimum of 2 years of direct leadership experience and a Bachelor's degree. You will lead a team of group managers and sales specialists, driving results and establishing a model customer service environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of group managers and sales specialists to achieve exceptional customer service and sales results
  • Drive functional improvements, identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, and share best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Retail Contact Center management, global partners, and internal stakeholders to improve business outcomes
  • Work with Vendor Management, Merchants, and Training teams to ensure efficient and effective operations
  • Execute on administrative tasks, such as holding staff meetings, conducting regular one-on-one's, talent development, performance management, and defining goals and expectations for direct staff
  • Drive understanding of staff and expert needs based on employee feedback and identify potential ways to improve employee satisfaction

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a customer service/support environment
  • Minimum 2 years of direct leadership experience, with a proven track record of driving results and improving customer satisfaction
  • Experience in driving, training, promoting, developing managers or supervisors
  • Knowledge of ACD reports, Workforce Management, and other key disciplines related to managing a large-scale call center
  • Experience with co-business liked and ability to quickly understand customer impact of issues and identify potential solutions
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate goals, vision, and expectations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

  • Experience with SAP, spreadsheet management, and Featured discussion
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technologies
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • A strong work ethic, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability
