Pharmacy Technician, Amazon Pharmacy

About the position Responsibilities • Drive from physical Pharmacy locations to our remote Pharmacy Kiosk locations with company provided vehicle • Refill Pharmacy Kiosks with medication, paper, clean machine, and collect discarded inventory for return • Prepare inventory shipments for Kiosk replenishment • Assist pharmacist in filling prescription items, as permitted by the state board of pharmacy • Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules and regulations • Work daily with Leadership to ensure the right medications are put in the right orders • Run automated machinery required to pre-sort and package medications • Fill exception trays with appropriate medication • Transition Amazon Pharmacy orders through different workflow stages from initial dispense through quality control • Count and fill prescription vials and affix labels on bulk prescription items • Pack and ship completed orders including printing and affixing appropriate labels on dispenser, shipping boxes • Sort and triage the right boxes to ship at the right time • Aid the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacists with receiving, shipping, counting, and packing • Clean, and help maintain, equipment and work areas within the pharmacy • Package medications for dispensing and for delivery • Work a flexible schedule - shifts will possibly start and end outside of normal site business hours Requirements • Active and unrestricted in-state Board of Pharmacy License • Ability to obtain a Pharmacy Technician License through the State Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of start date, if required by State Board of Pharmacy • Active and unrestricted in-state Driver's License • Clean driving record that passes Amazon's Motor Vehicle Checks, to be rechecked annually • High school diploma or equivalent • 6+ months of experience working with computer and web-based tools • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisor • Ability to read and understand English language labeling on product cartons and prescription labels Nice-to-haves • National Pharmacy technician Certification (PTCB or NHA) • Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member • Demonstrated organization skills and attention to detail • Ability to recognize and identify patient medications • Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced work environment while consistently meeting standards for productivity and quality Benefits • Medical, financial, and/or other benefits • Equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
