As a strategic consultant, you will provide expert guidance to local HR and business leaders on employee and labor relations matters. Job Summary
As a Human Resources Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders on employee and labor relations issues. Your expertise will help us maintain a positive and productive work environment, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and promote a culture of respect and inclusivity. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on employee and labor relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Develop and deliver training programs on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with HR and business leaders to identify trends and patterns, and develop critical interventions to address them
- Conduct non-complex investigations and provide recommendations for resolution
- Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide expertise on federal and state employment laws, JCAHO, CMS, OSBN, OSHA, and other healthcare-related agency requirements
- Participate in affirmative action planning and ensure data integrity
Requirements:
- 2 years of professional human resources experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a multi-site, multi-line of business, or integrated health system environment
- Demonstrated experience in one of the following specialty areas: labor relations, ADAAA, Leaves of Absence, Affirmative Action, mediation, or organizational development
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- SPHR or PHR certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe)
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Experience with HR systems and technology
