We're looking for a dedicated and technically skilled Overnight Internet Service Provider Customer Technical Support Representative to join our dynamic team in a 100% remote capacity.

About the Role

As a crucial member of our customer support team, you will work overnight shifts (11:59pm to 7:59am ET, Sunday to Friday) to ensure our customers receive top-notch support across various channels, including phone, text, website chat, and email. Your technical expertise, combined with a passion for problem-solving and customer satisfaction, will be instrumental in providing fast, stable, and secure internet connections to our subscribers.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and thoughtfully to incoming support inquiries and issues, ensuring timely resolutions and high customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with existing and prospective customers via multiple channels, addressing their concerns and queries in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of Wi-Fi and other WAN/LAN networking issues, leveraging your technical knowledge to resolve complex problems.
  • Monitor network alerts and engage with engineers as necessary to ensure seamless network operations.
  • Conduct installer data audits and assist in maintaining high-quality data as assigned by management.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of our customer support processes and procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong foundation in technical IT and network engineering skills, with a thorough understanding of Wi-Fi technologies and end-user hardware from multiple manufacturers.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex networking issues, with a keen eye for detail and a customer-centric approach.
  • Excellent communication skills across multiple channels, including phone, text, live agent chat, and email.
  • A calm and composed temperament, with the ability to handle time-sensitive, high-pressure situations with empathy and confidence.
  • A driven and organized mindset, with the flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a fast-paced startup environment.
  • An interest in networking, startups, and solving technical problems, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as an ISP field technician for residential customers, with a deep understanding of wireless broadband radio and fiber networks.
  • Familiarity with multiple manufacturers' equipment, including Mikrotik, TP-Link, Netgear, Google, Apple, and Amazon.
