Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative - Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for performing data entry tasks, handling customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a full-time remote role, offering the flexibility and autonomy to work from home while still being an integral part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize blithequark's data entry techniques and guidelines to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the appropriate system.
  • Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing.
  • Research and obtain missing prescription information, and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes).
  • Resolve all data entry-related exceptions, including communicating with patients, prescribers, and insurance companies as needed.
  • Provide support to pharmacists, both in-office and in other locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate.
  • Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, emails) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary.
  • Settle third-party rejects by investigating, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual claim requirements.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Basic level PC skills, including launching and shutting down PC, using the mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing reports, and/or accessing information online.
  • Basic web navigation skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online.
  • Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 18 years old or older.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment.
  • At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a certification/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization.
  • Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction.
  • Mid-to-advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents).
  • Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
