Job Overview: (USA) Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee

We are seeking an ambitious and skilled individual to join our team as a (USA) Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee in Lynchburg, VA. As a Coach/Ops Mgr Trainee, you will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing teams, driving financial performance and sales growth, and ensuring exceptional customer service standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback to enhance performance and customer experience.
  • Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards, following the One Best Way (OBW) service model, and ensure customer needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
  • Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting expenses, and implementing action plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing their achievements to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coordinate and oversee job-related activities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and support plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, utilizing the Open Door Policy and providing direction and guidance to associates.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following essential qualifications:

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, with responsibility for performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
