Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborative Planning: Actively participate in Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) and Child Study Team meetings, collaborating with teachers and staff to design strategies that address student needs.
  • IEP Meetings: Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and other planning sessions to offer insights and ensure students receive the appropriate resources.
  • Student Support: Provide individual and group counseling services to students, focusing on mental health, academic success, and social-emotional growth.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs and develop targeted interventions.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effective support.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure that students receive comprehensive support.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Education: Master's degree in School Psychology, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a School Psychologist or eligibility for licensure.
