Job Summary

About the Role

This is a full-time, remote position that requires a strong background in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing. As a Full Stack Software Engineer at blithequark, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing scalable and efficient web and cloud applications using a range of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and quality assurance, to ensure that applications meet the needs of our users.
• Developing and maintaining high-quality code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and implementing fixes and patches as needed.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing.
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to the improvement of our codebase.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, web development, and cloud computing.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, including Java, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with web frameworks, such as Spring and React.
• Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with containerization, such as Docker.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools, such as Jenkins and GitLab.
