Job Overview

In this dynamic and rewarding role, you will be responsible for answering incoming phone calls from patients, attorneys, guarantors, and other stakeholders, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be expected to process payments, set up payment plans, collect updated or missing insurance information, and address questions and concerns related to medical bills and insurance denials. Your exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask will enable you to provide top-notch support to our clients and drive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls from patients, attorneys, guarantors, and other stakeholders, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns
  • Process payments, set up payment plans, and collect updated or missing insurance information
  • Address questions and concerns related to medical bills and insurance denials, providing clear and concise explanations and resolutions
  • Perform off-phone duties, including processing mail returns, locating and attaching notes/authorizations to claims, and mailing invoices
  • Utilize your problem-solving skills to resolve complex customer issues and escalate concerns to senior team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, using our state-of-the-art customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including billing, coding, and operations, to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution

Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess exceptional communication, time management, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to multitask and adapt quickly to change. You should be a positive team player with a strong attention to detail and proficient typing and computer skills. A high school diploma or GED is required, and while experience is welcomed, it is not necessary, as we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to ensure your success.

Compensation and Benefits

We also offer flexible scheduling options, including a 4 1/2-day and 4-day workweek, to eligible employees after 90 days of service.
