Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to support our data-driven initiatives. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining reports, developing data models, and providing department insights on performance. You'll work closely with our technology team to ensure seamless data storage and warehouse solutions that meet department demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Create new, modify existing, and execute ad-hoc reports to support business operations and data-driven decision-making.
• Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI and Excel to provide actionable insights.
• Establish and implement data quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
• Design and develop new report pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse.
• Collaborate with management and business analysts to understand business requirements, maintain documentation, and obtain sign-offs for all reporting requirements.
• Generate, maintain, and develop scalable report pipelines and data designs.
• Apply data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI.
• Assist in automating existing business processes and enhancing exception-based reporting.
• Work with IT and business analysts to investigate, research, and acquire new data variables.
• Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns that provide actionable results.
• Validate data accuracy by verifying against standards and resolving conflicts.

• Contribute to the Data Governance program by updating the data dictionary and policies & procedures.

Essential Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis.
• Strong experience working with Power BI, including creating reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and M Code.
• Skilled in SQL, with the ability to write complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics.
• Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other big data integrations.
• Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods.
• Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large data sets.
• Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query.
• Familiarity with Smartsheets.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering projects on time.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a remote environment.
