We're proud to offer a dynamic work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a team that's passionate about making a difference in the lives of our clients. **Responsibilities** As an Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be responsible for: * Supporting clients in reporting claims on current policies by gathering all necessary documentation to facilitate the claims process * Recording policy updates or changes on customer accounts, tracking them in our secure system, and communicating with clients to explain any updates to their coverage * Assisting with the renewal process and policy updates by providing competitive quotes and ensuring seamless transitions * Providing clear answers to clients on coverage or billing questions, including information on rate fluctuations or policy changes to ensure full understanding * Staying up-to-date with industry standards, current rates, coverages, insurance products, policies, and carriers by regularly engaging with our industry partners to stay informed and provide expert guidance to clients, underwriters, sales representatives, account executives, and the service team * Reviewing current clients' coverage needs to determine if updates or changes are warranted * Communicating clear responses to coverage or billing inquiries * Processing and documenting calls, emails, and policy updates in a timely and accurate manner **Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * An active insurance license in Minnesota or a willingness to obtain one within 30 days * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and follow up on client inquiries * Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) * Insurance experience as an agent or in a related position is preferred, but we'll provide training as needed for the right fit and skillset **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you'll need: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex insurance policies and regulations * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software and systems * Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines * A customer-centric approach, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and ensuring client satisfaction **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their careers.
