About the Role
We're on the lookout for a seasoned Senior Learning Specialist who is as passionate about adult learning as they are about customer service excellence. As a key member of our Learning Delivery team, you'll lead and support a team of up to 30 Customer Support Associates, ensuring they have the skills, knowledge, and motivation to provide top-notch service. Your mission will be to create an optimal learning environment, both in-person and virtually, that fosters long-term success and drives business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and Analyze Learning Metrics: Oversee structured learning metrics for your assigned territory and region, ensuring data-driven insights inform your training strategies.
- Manage Live Performance Metrics: End-to-end management of live performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement targeted interventions.
- Deliver Diverse Training Programs: Conduct learning sessions on new processes and deliver various training courses, including continuous learning, new hire batches, and transfer batches, leveraging a range of modalities such as self-directed, instructor-led, virtual, and experiential learning.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Maintain and analyze data through Excel reports as per business requirements, ensuring timely and actionable insights.
- Ensure Timely Completion of Training Programs: Oversee the completion of new hire training programs, coaching, and other performance improvement initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and to the required standard.
- Collaborate with Operational Stakeholders: Serve as a key point of contact for the Learning Experience team, partnering with operational stakeholders to drive initiatives and programs that enhance the training experience.
- Identify and Certify Learning Coaches: Identify talent within the team and certify them as learning coaches, further enhancing the team's capability and capacity.
- Lead Improvement Projects: Spearhead individual improvement projects aimed at enhancing business performance, leveraging your analytical skills and knowledge of customer service operations.
- Drive Quality and Learning Metrics: Focus on improving quality and learning metrics, using data to inform your strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Conduct Training Sessions: Engage with stakeholders through Chime sessions and classroom training, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to excel.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in training delivery roles, with a proven track record of developing and implementing effective training programs.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field, giving you a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and instructional software, with the ability to leverage technology to enhance learning experiences.
- Highly accurate and fluent in both Japanese and English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate with our diverse team and customer base.
- Flexibility to work within a 24/7 x 365 days global team across various time zones, embracing the challenges and opportunities of a global operation.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, content design, and facilitation techniques, with a passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience as a trainer, corporate training specialist, or in a related position, demonstrating your expertise in training delivery and design.
- Project management skills, with the ability to supervise multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing timelines effectively.
