Key Responsibilities
- Handle inquiries from the public via phone, walk-in, or email/correspondence, providing timely and effective solutions to their concerns.
- Manage owner documents, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our processes.
- Instruct the public on blithequark division activities, including Commercial, Residential, BPP, Property Records Exemptions, or GIS, demonstrating a thorough understanding of our services and operations.
- Resolve customer issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
- Prepare research in support of various blithequark divisions, contributing to the development of our services and operations.
- Assist with mail, opening, sorting, and scanning, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
Essential Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, demonstrating a foundation in education and a commitment to learning.
- Proficient in the use of a PC and MS Office Software, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems.
- The ability to ask questions that will bring forth the information needed to assist the customer efficiently, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to concentrate on assigned tasks and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to communicate clearly on the telephone and face-to-face, providing excellent customer service and support.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods, with the ability to reach, bend, and move up/down, and lift and carry up to 20 pounds of files or equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish (read and speak), enabling you to provide support to a diverse range of customers and communities.
- Previous customer service, appraisal, or tax office experience, or other office experience, demonstrating a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
