- Position: Patient Support Reimbursement Specialist
Key Responsibilities
As a Patient Support Reimbursement Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Performing day-to-day expense reimbursement reconciliation activities, including reviewing receipts, maintaining reimbursement reconciliation worksheets, tracking and analyzing expense limits, and processing expenses in Concur.
- Setting up and managing patient and caregiver profiles in the expense processing system.
- Reviewing expenses and identifying those without receipts for the Patient Support Specialist team.
- Collaborating with the Patient Support Specialist team to analyze and approve expenses, maintain reimbursement reconciliation files, and document approval of reimbursements in tracking systems.
- Proactively working with the Patient Support Specialist team to create an exceptional patient experience, monitor performance, and identify operational and service offering improvements.
- Utilizing strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills to multi-task and work across multiple technology platforms.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An Associate degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical call center environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to demonstrate patient empathy and support.
- The ability to learn and work within IT platforms to document patient cases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguous situations and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Demonstrated computer skills, with the ability to maintain records in accordance with program design and compliance standards.
- A willingness to take ownership, be proactive, and see patients/caregivers through their entire CAR-T journey.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Bilingual capabilities.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- A strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and CAR-T therapy.
