About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Support Representative to join our team, focusing on remote billing inquiries and patient care. As a frontline representative, you will be responsible for responding to a high volume of clinician and patient billing-related inquiries, working cross-functionally across multiple departments, including sales, operations, billing, and lab teams. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve discrepancies, and identify areas for improvement to increase revenue and enhance the patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of our processes and policies to respond clearly and effectively to billing phone and email inquiries
- Collect patient payments through email, phone calls, or standard mail correspondence, and set up payment plans directly with patients
- Collaborate with other functional areas to increase revenue and resolve discrepancies when required
- Identify issues and suggest potential improvements to our processes and policies
- Develop and implement collection methods that consistently lead to achieving or exceeding company financial goals
- Work closely with your team to create ways to increase cash collections while providing the best service and experience to patients
- Participate in projects that extend beyond your day-to-day responsibilities to stretch your skills and think outside the box
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ year of experience working in a client-facing role in a heavily customer-focused work setting, or 2+ years of work experience post-college
- Ability to work remotely with a dedicated workspace and high-level internet speed (50 mbps) connectivity
- Experience using Google Apps, Mac OS X, and CRM applications (i.e., Salesforce)
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or billing role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and billing processes
- Experience with data entry and alpha-numeric data entry proficiency
- 10-key experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $15.00 to $18.00 per hour, or the state/local minimum wage, if higher.
