Job Overview
We are looking for a talented and customer-focused individual to fill a full-time remote Customer Service 401(k) Specialist position. Key Responsibilities
As a Bilingual Customer Service 401(k) Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering 20-40+ inbound phone calls per day, addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding 401(k) plans and administration
- Educating clients on 401(k) regulations, compliance questions, and plan administration
- Providing accurate, timely, and customer-focused service, ensuring department performance metrics such as quality, handle time, VOC, and adherence are met
- Navigating our website, registering online, and assisting with password resets
- Applying knowledge obtained during classroom and on-the-job training to independently solve customer requests
- Utilizing multiple CRM applications, such as Salesforce and Relius, to address customer questions and resolve requests
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated ownership, commitment, and prioritization to meet established deliverables
- Ability to adapt to change and be open to new ideas
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- A customer-first approach to service, while maintaining regulatory and organizational compliance

- Ability to comprehend and utilize contact center software applications, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general website navigation
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- 1+ years of customer service experience, with a focus on remote call center experience
- Retirement plan experience, particularly with 401(k) plans
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking in both Spanish and English languages
Education and Work Environment
A high school diploma or GED is required for this position. As a remote employee, you will need to have a dedicated, uninterrupted workspace with a reliable internet connection of 100 MBPS or better. You must be able to work in a distraction-free environment and meet the requirements of our virtual remote work policy.
