Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of health insurance coverage. We are looking for candidates with at least one year of call center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field. You should also have a high school diploma or equivalent, with college attendance or a degree preferred.
Essential Qualifications

- Minimum 1 year of Call Center experience, preferably in a healthcare-related field
- Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of health insurance policy and terminology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and interact well with clients and coworkers
- Computer proficiency, with the ability to learn and understand multiple database applications
- Ability to problem solve, prioritize, and multi-task, utilizing multiple computer applications while talking to clients
- Must be flexible, reliable, and available for occasional overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration or customer service
- Previous experience working in a remote call center environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities of remote work
- Knowledge of health insurance coverage, including policy and terminology
- Certification in customer service or a related field, such as the Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) designation
