WORK TYPE: Onsite LOCATION DETAILS 2525 Midpoint Dr, Edwardsville, KS 66111 WORK HOURS Monday – Friday, 11pm – 7am Seasonal team members work 8-hour shifts for 40 hours per week. Shift times may vary, and extra hours may be added to your schedule to ensure we fulfill our commitments to customers. Varsity Spirit, A Varsity Achievement Brand, is looking to hire a Seasonal Digital Sewing Operators to join our Digital Press team. As a member of the Varsity Yearbook Kansas City Yearbook team, you will be responsible for assisting in basic press operations to help maintain quality at minimum spoilage. WHAT YOU WILL DO Operate and maintain multiple pieces of equipment. Complete scheduled maintenance on operating presses during shift. Assure proofs match printed sheets from press. Meet daily production quotas. Adhere to all safety protocols. Check for quality. • Print PDF files. Scan out jobs through YBS and sign-out sheet. Create and print variable data jobs. QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS/ ABILITIES Experience running digital printing presses. Ability to read and interpret documents such as tracking sheets, order confirmation sheets and work orders. Experience with computers, printers, Excel, Darwin, Free Flow Rip, HP Server and Rip, iGen-5 and Adobe Acrobat Software. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times. EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE High School Diploma or General Education (GED) Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but involved written or oral instructions.
