You will work closely with technology on business needs and data storage services to meet department demands. This is a permanent opportunity with a remote work arrangement, allowing you to work from the comfort of your own home. **Key Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: * Creating new, tweaking existing, and executing ad-hoc reporting in support of business procedures and data-driven decision making. You will need to possess the ability to create relevant dashboards on Power BI and Excel. * Developing robust Data Quality specifications and controls to ensure data integrity and accessibility. * Handling and producing new records pipelines from source devices to the Data Warehouse. * Working closely with Monitoring and Business Analysts to identify business requirements, maintain complete documentation, and obtain business sign-offs for all reporting requirements, from everyday operational files to high-level metrics. * Generating, sustaining, and cultivating scalable records pipes and data design. * Utilizing data storytelling principles to create clear and impactful data visualizations using Power BI. * Aiding in the automation of existing business procedures and enhancing exception-based reporting. * Collaborating with IT and BA's to investigate, research, and obtain new data variables (data exploration). * Analyzing large datasets to determine meaningful patterns that provide actionable results. * Evaluating data acquired from multiple sources and resolving discrepancies. * Validating data for correctness by confirming against standards. * Researching data errors and remediating poor data. * Participating in the Data Governance plan by updating the data dictionary and plan & procedures. * Analyzing and affirming metrics are effective and providing comments to division innovators of styles that require attention. **Essential Qualifications** To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * 2+ years of experience in in-depth data analysis and evaluation. * Solid experience working with Power BI, including creating and managing reports, dashboards, and data models. * Working knowledge of different reporting tools, such as Dimensions, Measures, Filters, Calculated Fields, improvements, guidelines, provisional formatting, DAX queries, Interactions, etc. * Knowledge of DAX, SQL, and M Code. * Proficiency in SQL, with the ability to create complex SQL queries to generate reports and analytics. * Experience with ETL tools, including SSIS, Power BI Dataflows, or other Big Data integrations. * Strong data modeling experience using star schema or other methods. * Problem-solving skills through statistical analysis with large data sets. * Expertise with SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio), Power BI, and Power Query. * Familiarity with Smartsheets. * Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines and project timelines. **Preferred Qualifications** While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial for this role: * Experience working with cloud-based data storage solutions. * Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau or QlikView. * Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices. * Experience with data quality and data validation techniques. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
