About the Role
As an Overnight Customer Support Specialist at blithequark, you'll be the heartbeat of our customer support operations. Your role is pivotal in providing the best possible experience for our members when they need us most. We're seeking individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, engaging with members, navigating complex situations, investigating, problem-solving, and taking decisive action. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy and care, exemplifying blithequark's core values.
- Utilize multiple systems to support our members effectively, ensuring seamless issue resolution.
- Quickly adapt to changes in responsibility, processes, and workflow in an ever-evolving environment.
- Demonstrate a passion for assisting members, curiosity to ask probing questions, and the ability to problem-solve and devise creative solutions.
- Efficiently manage your time to provide legendary member service in a high-volume contact center.
- Make genuine connections with members, adapting your communication style to best serve their needs.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- 1+ year of experience working overnight shifts, demonstrating your ability to thrive in non-traditional hours.
- 2+ years of experience in a member-facing role, showcasing your capacity for empathy, problem-solving, and effective communication.
- Experience using and learning complex computer systems, with a keen aptitude for technology.
- A proven track record of working independently, with minimal supervision, in a remote setting (experience working from home is a plus).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fluency in French or Spanish, enabling you to serve a broader range of members.
- Property and Casualty licensing: Currently licensed candidates are eligible for a $1500 sign-on bonus. blithequark provides coursework and paid study time for qualifying states in the US (excluding Florida & Georgia).
