Required Education• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or Pharm DRequired License/Certification• Active pharmacist license in the state of residence in good standingRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience• 2+ years of clinical experience with specialty medications or clinical review of prior authorization requests• Experience using MS Office and other Windows-based applications• Strong organizational skills• Strong interpersonal skills• Detail-orientedClinical Pharmacist Overview:• The Clinical Pharmacist plays an essential role in conducting prior authorization reviews for specialty medications within a healthcare operations environment• This position requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff• The pharmacist will apply clinical knowledge to review medical data, assess cases against plan-approved criteria, and ensure appropriate outcomes for patients• In addition to performing clinical assessments, the role requires managing inbound calls, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting communication across health plans, employer groups, physicians, and patients• Maintaining professional expertise in drug and disease states for specialty medical programs is critical, along with ensuring adherence to service-level agreements and regulatory requirementsJob Duties:• Collaborate with technicians and nurses to process authorization requests• Answer clinical questions and collect clinical/medical data for assessments and reviews• Perform clinical reviews per health plan/employer-agreed criteria within service-level agreements• Coordinate communication of case decisions to physicians, patients, health plans, and employers• Handle inbound phone calls and escalations from physicians or patients regarding prior authorization• Establish and maintain communication among internal teams, health plans, and employer groups• Maintain professional and technical knowledge of drug and disease states for specialty medical programs administered in Novologix• Perform other projects and duties as assigned (including on-call and after-hours availability)Estimated Start Date:11/03/2025Specific Details to Call Attention To:• An active pharmacist license in the state of residence is required• 2+ years of clinical experience with specialty medications or prior authorization review required• Training schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST for 6 weeks• Work schedule: 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM CST (8 hours/day, possible weekend shifts)**Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.** **Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.** Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
