About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team in Miami, FL, as part of our hybrid remote work model. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our members and providers, providing exceptional customer service, answering inbound calls, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and prioritize caller needs, questions, and concerns, and formulate plans of resolution to respond appropriately and efficiently.
  • Maintain and restore customer satisfaction by partnering with other teams as needed to resolve complex issues.
  • Perform problem analysis, problem determination, and recommended resolutions to callers in accordance with standard protocol.
  • Proactively educate callers on program benefits and provide accurate information about blithequark programs and services.
  • Meet or exceed established call center metrics, attendance standards, and quality levels, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Utilize computer tools to accurately process and document information, and develop rapport with callers by adjusting communication style as needed.
  • Escalate issues internally and follow up on escalated issues to ensure timely resolution.

Essential Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience in a customer service-related field preferred, with a background in health information management (HIM) and/or Release of Information (ROI) systems a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with general working knowledge of computer keyboarding and internet navigation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate fluently in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of health information management (HIM) and/or Release of Information (ROI) systems.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and providing culturally sensitive care.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations. You will also need to be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize tasks to meet productivity and quality standards. Additionally, you will need to be proficient in computer software applications, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
