About the Role
As a valued member of blithequark's Borrower Success Team, you will play a pivotal role in directly supporting student loan borrowers, guiding them through blithequark's tools, and assisting them in enrolling in federal forgiveness and repayment programs. With comprehensive training and hands-on experience, you will rapidly become an expert in the student loan landscape, serving as the primary point of contact for blithequark's users. This is a remote, full-time contractor position with the potential for extension or permanent placement in NYC, contingent upon performance and company needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of blithequark's product offerings and how they address the unique needs of borrowers
- Engage with borrowers via email and live chat, providing exceptional support and guidance
- Review and submit applications for federal loan programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and implement innovative ideas and automations to scale the team's capabilities
- Collaborate with the product, design, and engineering teams to bring user feedback to life, driving the development of new features and offerings
- Work closely with the Borrower Success Team to achieve team and company growth goals, aligning with blithequark's social mission
Recommended Experience and Qualifications
Blithequark is seeking talented individuals with at least one year of relevant work experience. A background in start-ups, finance (including financial aid or fintech), government programs, or customer support is highly desirable. The ideal candidate is passionate about applying their skills in a fast-paced startup environment to tackle a major social issue.
