Job Summary

As a Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, assisting them with product selection, completing transactions, and answering questions about our store and merchandise. You will be a key ambassador for our brand, driving customer engagement, and contributing to a positive and profitable store operation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service in a positive and approachable manner, greeting customers, and assisting them with product selection.
  • Store Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a clean, well-stocked store environment, including unloading merchandise from delivery trucks, organizing merchandise, and transporting merchandise from the stockroom to the sales floor.
  • Shelf Stocking and Merchandise Recovery: Independently stock shelves and recover merchandise in the store, ensuring that our products are displayed attractively and are easily accessible to customers.
  • Transaction Processing: Accurately handle customer funds and process transactions using our POS system, ensuring a seamless and efficient checkout experience for our customers.
  • Customer Safety and Security: Remain constantly aware of customer activity to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment, responding promptly to any incidents or concerns.
  • Additional Duties: Perform all other duties as assigned to maintain an effective and profitable store operation, including supporting our management team and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Position Requirements

Education

We prefer candidates who have completed high school or equivalent. The ability to follow directives and interpret retail operational documents is essential for success in this role.

Experience

Previous experience working in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is preferred. We value candidates who have a strong understanding of customer service principles and are able to apply them in a fast-paced retail environment.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 40lbs. (and occasionally, up to 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height. You must be able to meet the demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Availability
