Job Summary

As a Full-Time Remote Customer Service Representative at Blithequark, you will report to our Customer Service Manager and serve as the first point of contact for our customers, including advisors, clients, and relationship partners. You will be responsible for resolving customer inquiries, issues, and requests in a timely and professional manner, while providing exceptional customer service and promoting a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, including advisors, clients, and relationship partners, to address their insurance-related inquiries and issues.
  • Research and resolve customer questions and issues in a timely and professional manner, utilizing effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide guidance and support to customers on company policies, procedures, and systems, as well as troubleshoot simple usability issues.
  • Refer complex issues to appropriate service partners and escalate issues as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Develop an understanding of procedures and policies to educate customers and advisors on newly enacted services and products.
  • Ensure that all relevant information is gathered and entered into our systems to facilitate prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Collaborate with coaches and other team members to process requests and resolve issues efficiently.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-focused solutions or support in a call center or customer service environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry or a related field.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services, including policies and procedures.
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technology tools.

Licenses and Certifications

Employees are expected to pass their state's P&C license exam within 12 months of hire. Training and administrative support will be provided to ensure success.

Work Environment and Culture

As a remote customer service representative, you will work from home 4+ days per week, with occasional travel to one of our office locations for in-person engagement activities, such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events. Our office locations include:

  • Hourly compensation range: $23.00 - $30.76, depending on experience and geographic location.
