Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service through inbound phone calls, chat, and email, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly, empathetic, and professional tone, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Utilize technology, including computer applications and software, to efficiently manage customer interactions and resolve issues.

Earnings and Revenue:

As an independent contractor with blithequark, your earnings will vary based on the client and your performance metrics. Our competitive rates typically range from $14 to $20 per hour, with additional incentives available for outstanding performance. Your pay will be determined by your phone call status when assisting customers, ensuring that you're rewarded for your hard work and dedication.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills: The ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively with customers, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proven track record in customer service: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer care.

Technology and Equipment Requirements:

  • Quiet and secure work environment: A dedicated workspace that is quiet, secure, and free from distractions.
  • Personal computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM: A reliable computer with a minimum of 8GB RAM, excluding tablets and Chromebooks.
  • Wired USB headset with microphone: A high-quality wired USB headset with microphone for clear communication.
  • High-speed wired internet with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed: A reliable high-speed wired internet connection with a minimum of 10 Mbps download speed, excluding mobile home internet and satellite internet services.
  • Operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11: A computer with an operating system of Windows 10 or Windows 11, with some clients accepting AppleOS.
  • Valid and up-to-date antivirus software: A computer with valid and up-to-date antivirus software installed.
  • Smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad: A smartphone, Android tablet, or iPad for program work, along with an authentication app.

Work Environment Requirements:

  • Quiet, uninterrupted space: A dedicated workspace that is quiet and free from distractions.
  • Organized desk area: A well-organized desk area that is conducive to productivity and efficiency.

Contractual Relationship:

As an independent contractor with blithequark, you will remain an independent contractor for the duration of your program assignment. blithequark will not be responsible for withholding taxes on your earnings while contracted with blithequark. When you receive your contract, you will be asked to agree to have no claim against blithequark for vacation pay, sick leave, retirement benefits, Social Security, worker's compensation, health or disability benefits, overtime, unemployment insurance benefits, or employee benefits of any kind.

Locations:

We are currently unable to work with contractors residing in Alaska, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Michigan, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington, or Washington DC. Contractors must also successfully pass a criminal background check. We are able to work with contractors residing in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Puerto Rico.
