The Role – Account Strategist, Mid-Market Sales and Client Solutions
As an Account Strategist at Blithequark, you'll play a critical role in driving client success and growth. You'll work closely with our clients to understand their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics, and develop tailored strategies to help them achieve their objectives. Your expertise in online media, combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities, will enable you to provide Google-caliber client service, research, and market analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Building: Build and manage relationships with clients, developing a deep understanding of their business challenges, marketing goals, and success metrics.
- Collaborative Working: Work proactively and cooperatively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure workflows and projects are completed on time to a high standard.
- Growth Strategy: Plan for, and achieve, growth goals, through the presentation of Blithequark advertising products/solutions that will help clients meet their marketing goals.
- Data-Driven Insights: Develop forward-thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
- Product Knowledge: Build an in-depth knowledge of how Blithequark advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing goals.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Industry Experience: 2 years of experience in advertising, sales, marketing, consulting, or media.
- Travel: Ability to travel 20% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Sales Experience: Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling, and competitive selling.
- Channel Sales Experience: Experience working with channel sales, advertisers, agencies, and/or clients.
- Digital Advertising Expertise: Expertise in launching and managing paid digital advertising campaigns, particularly in Blithequark Ads and other digital marketing platforms.
- Portfolio Management: Ability to manage and prioritize a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context, and ability to achieve goals to drive growth.
- Storytelling: Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
What We Offer
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary range of $81,000-$119,000, plus bonus and equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
