We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quality Control Standards Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Quality Control Standards and Guidelines Team, you will play a crucial role in driving a culture of safety, efficiency, and innovation by analyzing data trends and performance metrics to enhance our Quality Control division.

About the Role

As a Quality Control Standards Data Analyst at blithequark, you will be responsible for utilizing data to develop, present, and recommend groundbreaking ideas and projects. You will also perform critical analysis to mitigate the risk of non-compliance through process improvements, supporting our organization goals, including maintaining low costs, modernizing operations, and enhancing compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and assist others in the Quality Control team in timely data collection, validation, and root cause analysis on data elements.
  • Help create and communicate results from complex data and analysis for both technical and non-technical clients and leaders.
  • Assist in addressing critical ad-hoc requests resulting from emerging maintenance issues and provide analytical answers to enable Senior Leadership to make informed business decisions.
  • Present insights, trends, and potential recommendations using data visualization tools to facilitate stakeholder understanding.
  • Help develop and distribute specific queries to pull and coordinate data from various sources, establishing the rhythm, and validating the need for data requirements.
  • Identify anomalies in processes through audits/reviews and communicate findings to the team.
  • Assess the effectiveness of processes and procedures by monitoring for trends and errors.
  • Ensure that a compliance mindset is at the forefront of every decision.
  • May perform other job duties as directed by the Team Lead.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Operations, or a related discipline).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze large amounts of data.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Alteryx, or QuickBase.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Prior internship or work experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with aviation industry operations and regulations.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and presentation development.
