About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry and Management: Input data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, update order statuses for customers, and double-check work to ensure accuracy.
- Data Compilation and Verification: Compile, verify the accuracy, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Data Review and Correction: Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and check the output.
- Research and Data Collection: Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents.
- Data Program Techniques and Procedures: Apply data program techniques and procedures to ensure seamless data entry and management.
- Reporting and Storage: Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.
- Document Scanning and Printing: Scan documents and print files, when needed.
- Confidentiality: Keep information confidential and maintain the highest level of data security.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and other applications.
- Computer Skills: Strong computer skills, with the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
- Touch Typing and Database Management: Basic knowledge of touch typing system and database management tools.
- Data Entry Accuracy: Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, with the ability to review data for deficiencies or errors.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to think analytically and make sound judgments.
- Experience: Experience working as a Data Entry Clerk is a plus, but not required.
