The Worldwide Promoting and Brand The executives (GABM) association has a mission to spur commercial center interest and drive business for American Express through separated and creative items, organizations, showcasing, and client encounters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transform ideas, business opportunities, research, and creative vision into tangible results that provide clear, usable, valuable, and advantageous outcomes for clients.
  • Participate in client discovery meetings, design thinking, and journey/empathy mapping to understand client pain points.
  • Utilize analytical skills and strategic perspective to identify trends and suggest solutions that will help improve the client experience.
  • Provide the client experience perspective to American Express product partners.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to determine their understanding needs, make suitable suggestions, and craft strategies that align with their product roadmap.
  • Help ideate and create innovative ideas that meet business targets and requirements while assisting clients in achieving their goals.
  • Communicate future-thinking, client-centered designs.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of UX expectations, including developing site maps, process flows, wireframes, functional specifications, and preparing and leading client approval and usability testing sessions.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a design-related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Client Experience, Interaction Design, or Product Management.
  • Impressive understanding of the UX workflow and agile, collaborative processes.
  • Client-first mentality with a good balance of design needs and business acumen.
  • Ability to streamline and transform complex interactions into intuitive client experiences.
  • Knowledge of various subjective research methods and tools, such as usability testing and remote testing.
  • Experience with designing client journeys, identifying pain points, and developing solutions to address client issues.
  • Ability to draw on diverse data sources to arrive at client-centered proposals.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders.
  • Strong level of organization, personal drive, and individual responsibility.
  • Comfortable working with colleagues spread across various locations and time zones.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data design, interface design, flowcharting, storyboarding, human factors, or human-computer interaction and usability.
  • Familiarity with responsive design, versatile interfaces, and content management systems.
  • Knowledge of industry-leading creative experts, such as Krug, Morville/Rosenfeld, Cooper, and Nielsen.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch/Invision, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office product suite.
  • Experience as a design key supporter on significant enterprise-level site projects.
  • Examples of client experience documentation on enterprise-level site development endeavors.
  • Experience creating style guides, design libraries, and other design solutions that drive design across large organizations.
