Job Summary

We are looking for a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Remote Call Center Receptionist. As a Remote Call Center Receptionist, you will provide exceptional customer service to patients and their parents, assist with scheduling appointments, and respond to inquiries about our practice and policies. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading pediatric practice, providing high-quality patient care and support from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service with empathy and kindness to patients and their parents
  • Schedule appointments accurately for patients across multiple offices
  • Follow appropriate triage protocols and schedule messages for RNs and Pediatricians
  • Register and guide new patients
  • Answer general questions about the practice and offices
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and policies
  • Transfer calls to the correct individuals/departments
  • Maintain a positive demeanor and professionalism in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-manage and prioritize tasks to meet productivity and quality standards

Essential Qualifications

  • 1+ year of customer service experience/call center experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn our practice management system
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to self-manage and work independently
  • Must live in Alabama
  • Strong internet connection for remote work

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a pediatric or healthcare setting
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems
  • Certification in customer service or a related field

Compensation and Benefits
