About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team of experts in Managed Defense Solutions & Threat Intelligence. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in coordinating with Mandiant Global Security Operations Centers worldwide, managing defense delivery services in the Western United States, Canada, and Latin America. Your expertise will be instrumental in protecting our clients from vulnerable cyber attacks, and your contributions will help shape the future of cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

  • Be the client's trusted advisor in all security program-related activities, providing expert guidance and support to ensure the success of our managed defense solutions.
  • Lead client and engagement teams to successfully deliver our managed defense solutions, share threat intelligence with customers and internal teams, and inform customers, prospects, and response teams of external security threats and incidents.
  • Lead responses to security incidents and use product knowledge to lead customers through the process, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Communicate comprehensive security threat and incident response information to internal and external teams at various levels of technical understanding, ensuring seamless collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Lead efforts to expand and improve the development of customer communication processes, procedures, and methods for advanced ongoing threat analysis, threat intelligence, incident response, and vulnerability analysis.

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and exceptional communication skills. Here are the key qualifications we're looking for:

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in key program security functions, including cyber defense operations, incident response, security architecture (e.g., network and endpoint security), identity and access management, vulnerability management, or cyber risk management.
  • 1 year of experience working with executives in a client-facing consultant role, demonstrating your ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience architecting, deploying, and operating mid- to large-scale enterprise endpoint computing or endpoint security solutions, showcasing your technical expertise and ability to drive complex projects.

Skills and Competencies

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat intelligence, and incident response.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, executives, and internal teams.
