About the Job

As an Experienced Full Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web and cloud applications that meet the needs of our customers and partners. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy software solutions that are scalable, secure, and reliable. Your expertise will be essential in driving business growth and improving customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities

• 50% Delivery and Implementation: Develops, tests, deploys, and maintains software with a clear understanding of the value the software will deliver; accepts new opportunities and difficult challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm; always achieves results, even in difficult circumstances; develops test suites (functional, destructive, etc.) that enables successful and rapid deployment of code to production; has a broad perspective in his approach to matters; using a global lens.
• 20% Learn and Grow: Learn through successful and unsuccessful experiments in solving new problems; actively seeks ways to grow and be challenged through both formal and informal development channels.
• 20% Planning and Alignment: Works with other team members on agile processes; creates new and better ways for organizations to succeed; works with product team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand, and testable; provides multi-modal communication that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; adapts attitude and behavior in real time to the changing needs of different situations; communicates openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.
• 10% Support and Enablement: We help junior engineers grow by providing advice on modern software development frameworks and leading technical discussions.

Key Skills and Competencies

* 2-4 years of relevant experience in software development * Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks * Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred) * Experience with relational or NoSQL database technology * Experience with cloud computing techniques * Experience with CI/CD tools * Experience with modern software design patterns * Experience with retail/POS systems * Experience with security frameworks for authorization and authentication of users and services * Experience creating and executing unit, functional, damage, and performance tests * Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques * Experience with version control systems

Essential Qualifications

* Must be over 18 years of age * Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

* 2-4 years of relevant experience * Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks * Experience with object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred) * Experience with relational or NoSQL database technology * Experience with cloud computing techniques * Experience with CI/CD tools * Experience with modern software design patterns * Experience with retail/POS systems * Experience with security frameworks for authorization and authentication of users and services * Experience creating and executing unit, functional, damage, and performance tests * Experience with modern debugging and root cause analysis techniques * Experience with version control systems
