About the Role

As a Weekend Part-Time Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the face of our organization, providing exceptional support to customers during a challenging time. You'll work closely with our Operations team to ensure seamless claim intake, resolve customer issues, and drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service and Claim Intake:
    • Deliver prompt, accurate, and courteous responses to customer inquiries, providing technical expertise and empathy when needed.
    • Collect and document claim details accurately, adhering to client-specific handling instructions.
    • Utilize call scripting to ensure consistency and efficiency in handling customer claims and inquiries.
  • Punctuality and Reliability:
    • Remain available for extended hours or additional shifts during peak periods or emergency situations.
    • Adhere to break and lunch schedules to maintain productivity and ensure consistent customer service coverage.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Language Skills:
    • The ability to read and interpret documents, such as police and accident reports.
    • A confident, clear, and professional telephone presence.
    • The ability to provide feedback verbally and in writing in a positive, professional manner.
  • Computer Skills:
    • Knowledge of basic computer functions, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • A typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
  • Education and Experience:
    • A High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
    • 1-2 years of quality assurance experience (preferred).

Preferred Skills

While not required, being bi-lingual in Spanish is highly preferred, as it can enhance your ability to support a broader range of customers.

Network Requirements

To work effectively in this remote role, you'll need:

  • A reliable computer and internet connection (Ethernet connection strongly recommended).
  • A private network (public locations and VPNs are not allowed).
  • A Speed Test result from your work computer (www.speedtest.net) upon hire.
