Key Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination and Administration: Direct complex administrative functions with agility, precision, and sound judgment, ensuring the successful achievement of project goals.
  • Special Project Management: Manage special projects by establishing clear objectives, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring alignment with MMIS standards.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful achievement of project goals, and foster strong professional relationships with senior executive management.
  • MMIS CA Uni-Center Ticket Queue Management: Supervise the MMIS CA Uni-Center ticket queue for access requests, and coordinate responses with various teams to maintain updated procedures.
  • Financial Management: Assist the MMIS PMO Lead with managing monthly invoices, ensuring accurate financial tracking and reporting.
  • Project Intake Processes: Partner with the MMIS Development team to support project intake processes, ensuring thorough tracking of all submissions.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding: Oversee the onboarding and offboarding of personnel, and manage software licenses while maintaining effective coordination across MMIS teams.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize meeting requests for the MMIS Director, including preparation of agendas, distribution of minutes, and follow-up on action items.
  • Research and Reporting: Conduct research, prepare comprehensive documents and reports, and translate data into visually clear representations.
  • Communication and Notification: Draft notices regarding system outages, and contribute to the development of operational procedures and instructional materials.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar capacity, preferably in an IT environment or healthcare sector.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio).
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in a Medicaid or healthcare environment.
  • Knowledge of MMIS systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
