Job Overview

As a Senior Front End Engineer at Workwarp, you'll play a pivotal role in architecting and developing large-scale systems using Angular, driving the creation of new features, and ensuring seamless communication across various channels. You'll collaborate closely with product leaders and technical team members to deliver top-notch capabilities while optimizing workload efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System and Application Architecture: Design and implement scalable, maintainable front-end architectures for our applications, leveraging Angular and other relevant technologies.
  • Feature Development: Develop high-quality, user-friendly features that meet our customers' evolving needs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and best practices.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate technical concepts and plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding across the organization.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Partner with product leaders and technical team members to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvements, driving the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science: A strong educational foundation in computer science or equivalent experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of software development principles.
  • 5-7+ Years of Technical Experience: A proven track record of developing, shipping, and maintaining complex applications, with a focus on front-end development using Angular.
  • Angular Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Angular frameworks, including AngularJS, and experience with related technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS.
  • Familiarity with Additional Technologies: Knowledge of Ruby on Rails, AWS, and PostgreSQL, with the ability to integrate these technologies into our front-end applications.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Karma, or Cypress, and a commitment to writing high-quality, testable code.
