Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Sales Leader to manage our sales and clinical teams in their assigned territory. As a Sales Leader at Blithequark, you'll be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, building strong relationships with clients, and leading a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities
- Drive Revenue Growth: Direct the region's sales activities to meet annual growth and revenue objectives, developing and executing sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales goals.
- Lead and Manage Teams: Lead and manage the Region Clinical Manager and sales team members, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure high performance.
- Sales Performance Management: Direct sales performance in the specified region, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Talent Acquisition and Development: Identify, hire, retain, and develop talent through proactive performance management, ensuring the team has the skills and competencies needed to succeed.
- New Account Acquisition and Penetration: Develop strategies for launching new accounts and increasing penetration in existing accounts, building strong relationships with clients and executives.
- Effective Communication: Establish effective communications with executives and managers across the company to ensure proper sensitivity to the needs of sales.
- Sales Negotiations: Lead difficult sales negotiations, especially with larger prospects, using effective communication and negotiation skills to close deals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional departments within the organization to support region growth, ensuring alignment and coordination across teams.
Essential Qualifications
- Proven Sales Leadership Experience: Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience in the medical devices industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and leading high-performing teams.
- Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and executives.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Leadership and Coaching: Experience in leading and coaching teams, with a focus on talent development and performance management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Medical Devices Industry Expertise: Experience working in the medical devices industry, with a strong understanding of the regulatory environment and industry trends.
- Clinical Knowledge: Clinical knowledge or experience, with a strong understanding of medical devices and their applications.
- Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
