Job Summary

The Senior Director II, National Accounts, East Region is a key leadership role that will lead a team of at least 6 Senior Director I and Directors, focusing on developing best-in-class partnerships with our customers across the assigned portfolio. This leader will work closely with bottlers and cross-functional teams to build a collaborative team focused on long-term growth opportunities for our customers and system. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of delivering business results, building customer relationships, and leading high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Unit Management: Manage the business unit against a business plan, ensuring delivery of annual business plan metrics and high-level interaction, engagement, and stewardship with customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and implement Joint Business Plans that meet customer needs and drive beverage category growth, ensuring account teams execute business plans with distinction and steward results.
  • People Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to leaders of leaders, account leads, and cross-functional teams to achieve work objectives and improve collaboration, performance, and skills.
  • Customer Value Creation: Cultivate and navigate complex customer relationships, understanding customer systems, business drivers, brand purpose, goals, and objectives to deliver customized solutions.
  • Influencing and Negotiation: Responsible for customer contract negotiations, re-negotiations, retention, and gaining new customers within the geographical region.
  • Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Proven strength in building winning strategies and delivering results, with the ability to understand opportunities in a big-picture context and create a well-considered roadmap to reach desired destinations.
  • Finance and Analytics: Understand business drivers, develop relevant business performance scorecards, and support with appropriate routines to monitor performance and identify potential opportunities and risks.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Education: Typically requires a University Degree (Master or MBA ideally) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Typically requires 10 to 12 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Skills: Recognized thought leader mastering professional discipline, with strong communication, collaboration, influencing, and negotiation skills.
