Job Description

We are looking for a QA Engineer who will contribute actively to testing initiatives by taking ownership of feature-level manual testing, API validation, and test case design.

Responsibilities
  • Take initiative in system stability and long-term maintenance
  • Show proactiveness in identifying bugs early and maintaining overall quality
  • Design and execute test cases for user stories and bug fixes. Report bugs clearly and help reproduce edge cases
  • Apply critical thinking to outline test cases that cover both expected and edge scenarios
  • Contribute to functional and exploratory testing
  • Support API testing using tools like Postman
  • Participate in QA validation during deployment windows
  • Take accountability and lead initial triage when incidents occur
  • Coordinate with developers, stakeholders and product-owners for test clarifications
  • Proactively outline the business and functional cases when planning a feature or a task
  • Contribute to documentation and regression coverage
  • Participate in refining the QA process and standards
  • Mentor junior QA engineers when needed and provide constructive feedback
Skills and Qualifications required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or college diploma in QA Testing
  • 3- 6 years of experience with manual testing in agile environments
  • Strong ability to outline well-structured, edge-aware test cases
  • Basic to intermediate API testing skills
  • Working knowledge of modern test case management tools
  • Familiarity with debugging tools, logs, and dev console outputs for issue replication
  • Strong understanding of how to test systems that interact with multiple AI tools (e.g., LLMs, AI integrations, third-party APIs)
  • Experience supporting deployment testing and post-release validation
  • Proven accountability in incident-related QA support and recovery
  • Proactive attitude toward system quality and test ownership
  • Comfortable collaborating closely with developers, designers, and product teams in a cross-functional environment
  • Able to balance testing priorities between fast delivery and thorough coverage
  • Ability to communicate bugs and testing needs clearly
  • Willingness to mentor and support junior QA team members when required
  • Confident in proposing improvements to existing QA practices and infrastructure
  • Enthusiasm for continuous learning and testing process improvement.
