Field Service Engineering Technician- Inbound
About the position
Responsibilities
• Conduct control system IO checks and functionality assessments during precommissioning and commissioning of Water Treatment plants.
• Act as a construction liaison between design engineering and commissioning teams.
• Provide technical instruction and assistance to customer representatives regarding installation and maintenance during commissioning.
• Manage activities of outside vendors to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Develop Standard Operating Procedures and documentation for equipment checkout processes.
• Execute installation and assembly plans for Control Panels and Control System components.
• Perform inspections of electromechanical and rotating equipment with clients.
• Prepare technical reports for customer records and future reference.
• Assist customers with Electrical and Instrumentation requirements for commissioning activities.
• Participate in Customer Factory Acceptance Tests and Control Systems reviews.
• Perform onsite programming for Water Treatment Control Systems and assist with electrical installation and troubleshooting.
Requirements
• College Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Water Treatment field or 10 years of experience in Continuous Improvement.
