Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain the agile development environment, including the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Support the integration of resources, end-to-end solution testing, DevOps practices, and delivery on demand.
• Regulate vendor management, partner administration, and oversight to deliver systems that are complete, planned, and managed over life cycles.
• Research issues, design solutions, recommend software and systems, and guide advancements in a structured way to meet business requirements.
• Monitor and test performance and capacity with regards to potential bottlenecks, identify potential solutions, and work with partners to implement fixes.
• Provide and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and resolve escalations of moderate to medium to high complexity.
• Implement and update the platform process and guide.
• Maintain awareness of technology trends in the area of responsibility and make appropriate recommendations.
• Maintain and manage computer and data networks and related computing environments, including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurations.
• Meet responsibilities and expectations as connected with participating/leading projects.
• Gather data relating to customer needs and use the information to identify, anticipate, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirements.
• Create and execute integrated testing methodologies using test-driven development principles to ensure solution integrity and quality.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or comparable formal training.
• Mid-level knowledge, fully working broad knowledge in system engineering.
• Experience in IT systems administration and providing end-user support.
• Proficiency in working with infrastructure technologies like containerization, automation, and building pipelines in Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications
In addition to the essential qualifications, the following skills and experience are highly preferred:
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) using tools like GIT, Jenkins, and uDeploy.
• Experience with design and system management systems like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with unit and integration testing for quality assurance.
• Knowledge of web technologies like RESTful APIs and gRPC to connect back-end services.
• Understanding of Web services and microservices and comprehension of virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of Load balancers like F5, Nginix.
• Broad skill in various kinds of Unix, specifically Linux.
