Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Warehouse Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing warehouse inventory movements and restocking to facilitate prompt and accurate shipment preparation of PETCO merchandise. Key Responsibilities

  • Optimally manage warehouse inventory movements and restocking to facilitate prompt and accurate shipment preparation of PETCO merchandise
  • Perform tasks based on established schedules and timelines, ensuring that all duties are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Utilize forklift equipment, such as pallet jacks, stand-up lifts, and turret trucks, during the performance of duties
  • Systematically carry merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds by repetitive lifting motions
  • Use a portable electronic device to scan the barcodes of merchandise
  • Proficiently utilize an automated pick-module system to streamline inventory management

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory management environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive lifting motions
  • Experience with forklift equipment and automated pick-module systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a diverse and inclusive environment

Preferred Qualifications
