About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Customer Support Online Chat Specialist who is bilingual in English and either Spanish or Portuguese. This is a full-time contractor position for 30-40 hours a week, initially for a 4-month contract with the potential for renewal based on performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong fluency in English and the ability to communicate effectively in Spanish or Portuguese, with additional languages such as Polish, German, French, Italian, or Tagalog being a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer live chat messages and support the needs of our users through our Intercom customer messaging platform in both English and either Spanish or Portuguese.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to the rest of the blithequark team to enhance our app and services.
  • Identify potential issues and coordinate with the Development team to resolve them efficiently.
  • Support other Customer Support projects as necessary to ensure comprehensive user satisfaction.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Customer Support/Service, with a proven track record of providing excellent support and resolving issues effectively.
  • Strong fluency in English and being bilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with excellent communication skills in both languages.
  • Familiarity with software such as Intercom, Stripe, Retool, Notion, Slack, Braintree, Zoom, Google Workspace, and Zendesk, or the ability to quickly learn these tools.
  • Coding knowledge is not required but is considered a plus; however, being technically savvy is essential to support our users effectively.
  • A reliably strong internet connection (at least 10 MB/s) and a computer that can connect to the web without issues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed to ensure comprehensive support coverage.
